Booking and Tariff
Your hosts are Bridget Goldsmith and her husband, David Trump, who
are hospitable and extremely welcoming. Keen cooks and gardeners, they
grow their own fruit and vegetables, and have six chickens which supply
beautiful and delicious eggs. Breakfast or dinner can be provided by
prior arrangement. Also interested in drawing, painting and bird
watching they especially welcome guests who wish to share this idyllic
spot.
Their
extensive travels are in evidence in their own house - originally two
separate nineteenth century barns- as well as in the Bothy, a third
outbuilding of the original Farm. Some thirty five years ago David
used to stable his horse in the lounge of the main house!
They are enthusiastic walkers and can advise on all the local footpaths,
suggesting routes of varying lengths and by arrangement, can offer a
drop-off service to enable guests to enjoy linear walks such as parts of
the South West coast path, the Coleridge Way or the West Deane Way.
There is a little walked footpath which traverses the bottom of the
garden. Maps and walking guides are freely available. Lands End to
John O'Groats cycle routes pass very close by.
Well behaved dogs are invited on a strictly individual basis and with prior
agreement.

Short term lets, self-catering

Meals by arrangement…
Breakfast:
Self service breakfast provisions - delicious breads, home made
marmalade and jams, cereals or porridge, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit
juice, eggs, tea and coffee: £6.50 per person
Dinner:
Simple wholesome meals for walkers/ cyclists using local ingredients-
£8.50
or
3 course dinner, menu depending on season, availability, includes a
glass of wine- £16.00
Vegetarians are happily catered for.
