Deepleigh is one mile from the fascinating town of Wiveliscombe which provides a range of facilities - see Home. For further information see the Wiveliscombe Area website: www.wiveliscombe.com.
Wiveliscombe is a warm, welcoming historic town, full of unexpected and surprising discoveries. Set in a landscape of fine hills and intimate wooded valleys, accessed by ancient greenways and paths, the town is at the centre of the circular 23 mile “Wivey Way”, which can be walked in a day, or broken down into manageable sections, with paths leading back to Wiveliscombe.
Wiveliscombe is also proud to be recognised as one of the first Fair Trade towns. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool, open throughout the summer months, and tennis courts which were recently resurfaced. www.walkersarewelcome.org.uk
